San Tan Valley Orthodontics

Doctor

Dr. Peterson grew up in North Ogden, Utah, but decided that snow is overrated and migrated to sunny Arizona to start his career. It only took one winter to convince him to stay forever!

Before escaping the cold, he graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He then attended Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Society and received multiple other scholarships.

He continued his studies at Loma Linda University, where he specialized in orthodontics and received his master’s degree in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.

Dr. Peterson loves learning and believes in using the latest orthodontic advancements to improve your orthodontic experience.

He is an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists, and he regularly attends conferences and reads academic journals to stay up-to-date on the most recent orthodontic trends.

Family orthodontist

Father

Dr. Peterson’s pride and joy lie with his family. He is married to his beautiful wife, Kathryn, and they have three adorable children!

When he’s not at the office giving his patients beautiful smiles, he likes to play sports with his son, dress up with his daughters, and take his family to their favorite vacation destination of Lake Powell.

Queen Creek Braces

Iron Man… Sort of!

Dr. Peterson loves competing in triathlons and any race where you get muddy, crawl under barbed wire, and use chimpanzee skills to cross monkey bars.

He has completed several sprint and Olympic triathlons, a Half Ironman, a Spartan Race, and a Tough Mudder!
