In most cases he can start the process of your treatment that day by taking a detailed scan of your teeth using his iTero scanner. This scanner eliminates the need for traditional impressions by capturing a 3D image of your teeth. Dr. Peterson can then show you the model on the computer, and he can even create an interactive 3D image of your new smile before you begin treatment.
Once Dr. Peterson has created an individualized treatment plan for your Invisalign, he will order your first set of trays. Invisalign uses several advanced technologies to make your trays as comfortable as possible. SmartTrack material was created just for Invisalign to ensure your trays fit perfectly around your teeth, move properly, and straighten more quickly. Each tray is trimmed individually to create a good fit along your gumline.

He will also give you instructions on how to wear your trays. All full-treatment cases come with one year of retention to ensure your retainers are fitting comfortably and doing their job.

Compliance is very important when using this method; it is up to the patient to wear the trays.
